So this morning I went against the advice about running on consecutive days, but I have been running now for nearly 2 years so it’s surely not all bad? But my main reason was my 10 year old has been nagging me for the last few days about coming on runs with me, so I agreed to take her for a short run this morning.
She suffers with a condition (only recently diagnosed) which effects her blood pressure, so exercise is something we need to start fitting in to her routine. Anyway we managed 2km together, which included a bit of walking, a go on the swings and nipping in to the corner shop for drinks. Not a bad start, and she’s asked if we can go tomorrow too. 😀

Sounds like the perfect run, especially the go on the swings and the corner shop bit! Can’t remember the last time I went on a swing. And that’s great she wants to do it again tomorrow. I’m sure it will have a positive effect on her blood pressure. All the best! 😊😊😊
I went mad and did an interval session yesterday and then a 5k today. I never usually run consecutive days and I could feel my legs were tired so I had to keep a very steady, what I would now call my '10k pace' (though I've never done 10k yet!). Feel ok so far lets see what tomorrow brings!
