I felt like if I didn't get out and run today, I might never get back into it. It's been 3 long weeks, and my hip pain has almost (but not quite) disappeared. So a trepidatious 2 laps of Wandsworth Park (2.5k) this afternoon. Really I should now be running my 8k of the Magic Plan, but hey - things happen!
Hip seems OK, and I'll find out for sure when I wake up tomorrow. But goodness, how the weather's changed over the past 3 weeks! Next thing to deal with is my wheezy tight chest. The cold air seems to have really set my asthma off. Does anyone run with a Ventolin inhaler to help relieve the wheeziness? Or have I just lost my fitness?
10k feels like such a long way off now!
