Ventolin

Is it still possible to get Ventolin inhaler prescribed by doctor.

It feels lighter than the ventolin and I get the idea more might be going in. Anyway. Anyone else had this?

ways to relieve those issues besides taking much needed medicine from people with health problems,I have tried several other replacement sprays but ventolin is the only one that works what should i do

My history was old school 2 puffs ventolin before Qvar twice a day. I was told at my asthma review that I needed to reduce to just Qvar only using Ventolin as required. I agreed but ended up using ventolin more. Asthma Nurse changed me to Symbicort.

I don't suppose anyone knows of a source for Ventolin nebules? I know it's not likely available without a prescription in the UK but the person needing them just can't face another sparring match with the GP. Please PM as per the guidelines. Thanks in advance.

I had been taking ventolin for many years. Doctors changed it to salamol. I have tried this for months and occasionally got ventolin when I repeatedly asked. However was told I was using too much salami as I didn't find relief without more puffs. Asked for ventolin.

I use Fostair and Ventolin but these and using a spacer cause sore splits on my lips has anyone else had this, I have tried every lip balm etc but I always have a sore mouth x

Hi, I have been using Fostair and then was prescribed Montelukast and my Asthma was well controlled, I have for the last couple of months felt Asthma symptoms at night and have had to use my Ventolin.

Recently she has been saying that she gets a pain under her ribs after most sessions and on Wed she had to take her Ventolin (stopped half way through a routine) - the tight chest feeling and breathless was eased with the Ventolin but the pain remained under her ribs for several hours.

Plus ventolin when needed. Just wondering if anybody has similar problems.

Hi there, I was on seretide (250mg/ morning & evening ) inhaler, montelukast (evening)tablets, Ventolin (when needed)and antihistamines for almost 2 years (since end 2021) taking all as prescribed.

I am not on ventolin, as it causes awful palpitations. I am now in symbicort turbohaler and have been for years.I am lucky as I am very well controlled, thankfully with symbicort and montelucust.

I mentioned about the ventolin inhaler, the fact that it counteracts the bisoprolol, he said the ventolin only causes heart rate to increase for a very short time and that if it’s helping mum to feel less breathless while she has this breathlessness, then she can use it but was reluctant to prescribe

I sing in a choir but run out of breath at times and have to use my Ventolin. Any tips apart from Don’t sing. Thanks

I have been using Clenil for years as a preventative inhaler and have just recently been told I have to swap to Lubfobec and not have ventolin any more. I'm so scared, Salamol didn't work at all for me and actually seemed to cause asthma attacks.

From 1 ventolin lasting upto 2 years I got through almost 3 salamol in a year!!

I have Ventolin for rescue if needed and take Singular at night. I have read you could have both asthma and COPD, so I am wondering for those who do, what do you take? Just out of curiosity.

I was prescribed the Seretide a week ago as the Clenil inhaler wasn't doing much to control my asthma (waking up several times a night, needing my ventolin inhaler multiple times a day etc).
