I last ran on Friday 20th October!!! Half term hit and the cold I'd been fighting off for a few weeks finally caught up with me!! And it lingered for quite a while too. Not 100% yet but went out this morning and did a 30 min run & walk from nrc to ease myself back in. Might do this one a couple more times before I try a solid run. This has been the time of year the last 2 years that my running has dwindled off... the bugs hit thanks to the small people and I lose impetus and motivation. I am determined this year will not be the same. Keep your finger's crossed for me!
Back after a 2 week break : I last ran on... - Bridge to 10K
Back after a 2 week break
My fingers are crossed, well done getting out, coughs, colds and other little people induced germs just have to be got through
That's what my mum keeps saying... it's just a stage! I think because the youngest only started this year he's bringing a load of germs in! Hope you're running is going well
Hello again... fingers and everything else crossed for you ! Well done on that walk... we will be here to try to help keep you moving!
Thank you 😊 it really does help that there's a lovely bunch of people being both my motivator and conscience!! How are things with you? I haven't had time to catch up on the site for a few weeks? Are you back running? How's Mr OF now?
I am back ... slow and steady... C25K repeat.... Week 8 Run 1 done Sunday and hopefully Run 2.... tomorrow or Thursday!
He is doing okay... nearly 4 months on... it is slow but his confidence is returning Thank you !
Glad to see you back! I think a fair few of us have had enforced breaks recently. Here’s to a happy return! ❤️
Fingers well and truly crossed for you here 🤞xx
I have run in the last two weeks, but over the last 6-8 weeks one cold has led to another and I have been unable to truly plan or structure anything. And I know exactly what you mean by the change in the weather: I only started in the spring, so almost all my runs have been in fair(ish) weather, usually in daylight, and without the layering that's becoming necessary! It's much more of a faff now, isn't it?
