Was on the IC for several weeks after getting injured mid November. I had promised myself I would get to 10K by Christmas, and 8K today would be a nice stepping stone. Back to 5K runs for the rest of the week.
Knees feel OK. "Wrapped in tissue paper" for the rest of the day, and taking ibuprofen just in case. Overnight will be the acid test, but everything seems fine. π€

Glad your off the IC but still being sensibly cautious. But listen to you - an easy 8k, when did we all start calling longer distance easy ππββοΈπββοΈ
Ha ha. Yes, thank you - but I do still think of running as a kind of superpower and privileged that I have access to it.
1st time I've ever had an injury like that, and I hope / believe it was a learning experience and I will be better at listening to my legs telling me when they're not comfy!
