Since my last post I've not run for a week, I've stocked up on chocolates and mince pies. I've rested, and iced the old leg! I've walked and done gentle stretching and happily just done W1R1 of C25K as a 'get back cautiously' into running. No ill effects - so far...post-run stretches done. Feeling really happy to have been out there again after a week, feeling really happy that last week's 'injury' wasn't as bad as I thought it was, feeling really happy to be 'off the IC' ππ.
I will continue to just work up slowly for a week...then I'm off again, really want to do the half marathon in February , hope I'm not being too ambitious π€.
I often wonder why I keep challenging myself like this, perhaps I should be happy with just doing the 5K with the odd 10K thrown in every now and then. But then we only live once, and if we do come back, we don't recall previous lives (I know, some do) so might as well just 'seize the day' and live for the moment.
Sorry I've prattled on, thanks for 'listening' to my meanderings, happy running everyone, and 'keep running'. πΊπ
