Wasn't sure whether to attempt my 6km or just do my 5km when I set off this morning but something told me to keep going! Really pleased with myself, it was hot but breezy and not humid like my last run. Uphill bits were challenging but I managed to get round without walking, phew! π My lovely pic of the orchards at Sissinghurst didn't load on mapmyrun so this is me cooling off back home! π π I ran for 52 minutes! π

It's so beautiful all year round but looking particularly wonderful at the moment. It's only 5 minutes drive from me, I am really lucky to have it practically on the doorstep.
Thatβs how iβve been approaching all the long runs... just get to 5km and then see how I feel. Makes it less daunting. Outstanding stuff Debs, personally I think if you can run 5/6km you can do 10km, now itβs all about training your mind to accept that running for an hour isnβt insane π
Doing ok so far, 3k tomorrow but Iβm out Saturday night so thinking about doing back to back and doing my 7k on Saturday morning instead of Sunday...
Your route looks lovely having lived in Kent and East Sussex years ago ..you look to be steaming ahead..weβll done you πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Wow - look at you! I am watching your progress from the Injury Couch with pride. I love that you were mulling over doing a 5k or a 6k π€- brilliant! You should be proud of yourself, you are doing so well.
Thank you Delly-dot! You'll be back in business soon I hope and there'll be no stopping you. I do feel proud, I've been boring on to my husband about all my mapmyrun stats... lol
