Have you had the x-ray or do you still have to book it and then wait 5 days??? Arrgh! Sometimes the radiographer will tell you what they can see there and then, but some of them won't.
Hmmm... in my experience - ring again as they are often too busy to get to the answer m/c until the end of the day but if they are passing they will pick up the phone. Worth a try? Good luck x
Total for last week was bit under 18 miles after a 10K road run on Saturday. This morning was a slow run along the cliffs. Lovely day. Bit over 16 miles to go to meet the rather arbitrary monthly target.
Slow 6K this morning. Fast is not quite the new slow yet. The new slow is somewhere in between the old fast and the old slow. Except on trail runs where the new slow off road is much the same as the old slow on them. Mainly because I don't want to break my ankle in a rabbit hole. I hope you're all keeping up.
In the end I did 47 miles of my 53 mile target for March but my first run of the month was not until the 12th so I'm happy with that. No point straining something just to achieve a made up figure. Maintained 4 runs a week which seems to be going well. Did another 10K on the 24th and my first Park Run yesterday with most of my family. All in all a good month.
It's a nice route but I shall see how it fits in with my running schedule. I want to work on longer runs so if a Saturday 5K doesn't fit in I might just volunteer instead.
I'm injured too rolysmate. I tried a gentle run today but slowed to a walk after 5 minutes. I still enjoyed the sunshine and the singing birds. I decided not to fret. I'll lose some fitness while this knee heals (ITB probably). I can hop back to Week 6 or 7 of my Get Running 5km app and then hopefully I'll be back to my plan to do a 10km. The evenings are bright and hopefully we'll have no more snow and ice so I could be running my 10km in the summer.
Yeah! 7k Floss, I saw on Strava😊...a fab distance acheived ...you are mended and back on top form...shall we think about Ju ju's plan soon?😆xx Are you ready, am I ? 😉xx
