Hiya and welcome to a new week.

Sometimes we don't feel like putting a whole post up but just want to share something small, so this is a great place for doing that during the week.

If youre a lurker it is a great place to say a little hi without the pressure of a full post.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy week,

Juju, Realfoodieclub, Oldfloss, Millsie-J and Jan-now-runs

Managed to drag myself out this chilly morning, Managed just under 7km which is the furthest I've run for years. My idea is to try a do a longer run once a week and then two shorter but quicker ones.

I'm on a rest day after a big weekend of 5k then 6k to end week 2 of the 10k plan. The 5k was at my first ever parkrun, but given that I ran in a city with 2 massive universities, it was mostly nubile, fit, and fast students. I was the last runner to finish before the group of run/walkers, so I am a bit disappointed in it yet I ran my fastest 5k ever.

Think I might be better off just running alone as usual.

Intervals again up next to try to reduce my time. such a snail

Brilliant Parkrun and 5k PB, well done. Forget the other faster runners, just compete against yourself and enjoy.

I am always near the back, but I run 😃🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻

Ended up doing 3 rest days after hospital procedure Saturday, long walk Sunday, elusive mojo and a meeting back in the smoke yesterday. Trail shoes on today and back out on the cliff top. -3 C but lovely sunny day. Means I have to run tomorrow to hit my target for February but I'm only a couple of miles short.

UPDATE: Easy 3 mile run today. First run on consecutive days. I didn't die or break a leg. 52 miles in February which reaches my target to run further than January (51 miles). Plan from now on is to run 3 or 4 times per week according to distance, how hard etc.
