Hi everyone, hope everyone’s doing ok and managing to get over the snow and all that bring.
So this morning managed to run 3.5k,having only to stop the once as still snow drifts taking someof my running route up,therefore making it a wee bit difficult for a van to pass me. Anyway I just ran on the spot. So that wasn’t too bad.
Ankle still a little sore but not too troublesome while running, infact I forgot about it as it was just great to get out into the fresh air and as there’s still a bit of snow on the surrounding hills it made for a beautiful morning. Off road was very wet, lots of standing water and of course plenty of mud mixed with cow 🐂 poop!hee! 🏃♀️💩🌊.
Many thanks Oldfloss! Only one thing though. What exactly is a good acceptable pace? . I think mine is not too bad and I’m by no means fast but I don’t think I’m slow? Any help is greatly appreciated.🤔😀😀
So individual... I just enjoy a happy pace... which varies... I like to be able to breathe easily, enjoy the passing world and feel like I could go on for ever... It does happen
The pace should be, what feels exactly right for you...unless you are thinking competitive racing that is all that matters
Thanks Oldfloss. I really think deep down that this pace is ok for me and yes I’m comfortable running at this speed. It’s the hills that do it for me sometimes,so I try to run them albeit slowly and I think I’m doing ok at 60.
Sometimes I feel as if I should be as fit as I was when I was in the army which was 36 years ago! hee! hee! ......I wish😂
Cheers Oldfloss and happy running xx😀😀
Well done, and you're faster than me, though i am 11 years older. but still, with hills i think you should be very pleased with that pace. xx

Anyhoo! We’ve got beautiful sunshine here in the sticks. Tempted to go out again but I’m going to have a rest day now our dogs have been out with hubby and me.
Will go out again later today. As for my running that will be Friday now as I’m working tomorrow.
I know what you mean about the churning of the garden. Our two are exactly the same!hee! We wouldn’t be without them though aah....😀😀xx
