Back home from my hols in Italy and I just had to run in the cold, wet, autumn weather that seems to have established itself in Munich. Blimey it was hard. I tried a bit of fartlekking, it was deliberately a short run, but my breathing was all over the place and my legs felt like tree trunks. "Well, what do you expect?" hubby said when I staggered through the door (slight exaggeration there!) "You've got to get the alcohol out of your system". Hmmmm - he has a point😩

Well done you.... and sadly... you will be back to normality soon!!!!!... but the good news..well.... your run will be back to normal too!!! xxx

When I first started c25k I quickly learned the difference between running after a 'clean' night the night before and running with a "mild" hangover. Tree trunk legs pretty much sums it up. Down lots of lemon and mint infused water over the next 24hrs and you'll be fine
