Could be, sensitive taste buds, burnt, or you have been scrubbing it a bit to much with your toothbrush.

Your not on any new drugs are you? as that can be a side effect.

It is something that can happen with anxiety, I've had it a few times too.

Same meds just a higher dose its really odd it feels strange and also like I've got lots of saliver in my mouth all the time aswell xx

Ah, the saliva is common too, it might just be the meds, your tongues not swollen?

Anxiety can be a naughty sometimes with new symptoms, ok, leave your tongue alone and relax, do something to take your mind off of it, not easy I know, but, poking it wont help much either.

Relax you tongue to the bottom of your mouth, breathe and carry on with your day.

I'm sure it will go away once you dont, think its so importan.

Wishing you well

No doesn't look swollen, prob my mind running overtime as usual, it's driving me crazy I can't concentrate properly am very distant from my partner and if I have a pain or something I think there's something serious wrong and worst part is I don't want to do anything I just want to sit in all the time it's dragging me down big time xx

Hi Daisy21,

I understand those feelings, have you been to the docs, to get some help, or therapy?

One thing you might like to try, as you sound a bit stuck at the moment is.

Sit........or walk about a bit if you feel anxious, and focus your mind on the present, right now this minute, how does it feel, dont make any judgements on it being good or bad, just experience this moment in time.

You might start noticing your breathing, dont try and change it, or if it becomes uncomfortable, focus on your heart area, inside your body, open that area by sitting up a bit, and experience the day, when anxious thoughts enter your minds, there ok, smile, and gently return back to fousing on your heart area, feel it open up, or your breathing. you could try breating in to a count of 4 and breathing out to the count of 8, but do it very gently.

the way to lower anxious feelings is to allow them to come, without any resistance, and focus on now, this moment.

expect agitation, expect anxious thoughts, your getting them anyway, just gently go back to the now, and open up your heart. Feel how its feels to be loved, then give that feeling to your heart softly, gently, let go of control, all is well.

Hope you give it a try, it will help.
