Of course you will, our bodies repair themselves when we sleep, our minds work out stuff too.

Do have a sleep or at least rest, and eat even if you dont feel like anything, food gives us energy and nutrients to allow our bodies to work properly.

You need both do it now :-)

I try doing so many things to relax, burning lavender candles, pillow spray etc. I've get severe nausea in the evening and it keeps me up, but then I feel as I'm not eating and results in not going to the toilet properly. Is that what's causing the nausea? My mind goes into overdrive then bam I cannot sleep. My doctor prescribed me Hydroxine (vistaril) I'm yet to take one as I fear I might not react well to them xx

Sleep really does help.

I have to have at least 8 hours otherwise i do suffer the next day.

If i'm tired i go into a sort of dream state and that messes with my mind.

Try to find a routine that works. Don't use technology at least 1 hour before you try and sleep as it will delay the hormones being released in your body that let your body know you're tired.

Don't go to bed until you feel tired, as otherwise you will lie in bed for a while thinking, which is never good.

As for the nausea, I have bad nausea, but you have to try and force yourself to eat. I sip lots of water when I eat which helps, but eating will be important in helping you to sleep. But don't eat just before bed, try and give it 30 minutes or so before you try and sleep.

Deep breathing helps me when trying to sleep. Hypnotherapy can help with not being able to sleep so maybe ask your doctor for a reference.

What kind of things do you think about when you say your 'mind goes into overdrive'? It might be more important to adress the probably behind why you can't sleep rather then just not being able to sleep.

But yes, sleep will make you feel better ;)

I'm hoping tonight I get a better sleep. The last few days its been a panic as I haven't felt myself and again I think what if I don't wake up. I'm thinking of trying to keep my iPad/phone off now at night as I do tend to be on it quite late my boyfriend is in the forces so it gone 10pm at night when we talk for 30 minutes in facebook due to the time difference. I've spoken to him today so I know I have no reason to wait up this evening. The past few days its more my physical symptoms has been causing me to go into meltdown, I think perhaps if I felt better physically I'd start feeling better mentally, I've not felt this bad you see so its quite a frightening time, x

Do you suffer with IBS ? as that may cause nausea, and the stress of your boyfriend being away may be bothering you to and bringing all this to a head.

If you sleep you WILL wake up eventually, and feel a lots better for it.

I'm sure your boyfriend would want to think you are ok.

Keep asking questions, that concern you

Theres lots of help here

Wishing you well

Have you been drinking plenty of water as well? With no sleep your electrolytes will be slightly different to what they should be so get drinking the water and put that head of yours down on the pillow :) Night Night x
