Hi,
I've been there, well I'm still stuck with no job, but I thought this might inspire you to make a decision, its a blog from another person on here, a while ago. There are ways of managing your stress, and some work well.
Ah i dont know what to advise but just wanted you to know i'd read your question.
If its that bad could you maybe start looking around for something else?
Bit of a vicious circle isnt it. I was lucky and my employer gave me some time off to recover the initial phase of anxiety and because he had experienced depression his self he said to take time out when i need it.
Hi, I have had to take time out from work due to anxiety and not sleeping, would your doctor not sign you off sick for a while to give you some time to recover. My GP has been really good even he knows I'm not ready to go back yet. I am worrying about being off so long, but trying to tell myself its what I need until I'm seeping better and a bit calmer.
Hi I have not been to work since Jan due to panic attacks anxiety and sometimes have trouble going out which in turn stops me from getting to work. I have to travel on the bus to work and the thought scares me like mad.
I am signed off work and when i feel able to cope the therapist said they can phase me back short hours or part time. I like eta worry about being off work but i have no control how i am feeling and how much stress i can cope with.
Before you decide not to go back talk with you GP get singed off and take small steps towards your recovery perhaps see a therapist.
