Hi Hollyjean, Have you told the GP about the headache? If you have had it continually for 5 day you should do. I am not on Setraline but Citalopram. I must admit I do struggle sometimes when speaking with strangers and feel like I am sounding an idiot....but it could be a side effect. I would check though. Best Wishes x Ella x
thanks for your reply ella, i went back last week but GP just siad it can take up to 4 weeks to work and settle down. i am really struggling to move my arms and hands as they feel weak ans i shake alot. would you say this is a side effect or the anxiety? x
Hi jollyjean
I like the Jean in your name that was my mums name , I dont hear it much
If you went to GP & they said it could take 4 weeks they no doubt are right but .....if you are stuggling on them that much then I would go back again & tell them you cant cope on these , there are lots of other meds & they can change them
Its you that is having to feel this way , not them , so if you are unhappy go back
Maybe see a different GP in same surgery ? if you dont feel the one you are seeing , is listening
Lots have said on here it takes so many weeks sometimes , but its if you feel you can't cope then you have to let then no
Thanks for your reply x i will do that, i just was not sure if i was over reacting. i have a small child to care for and it is difficult enough with the anxiety, but coupled with the side effects. in particular the headaches and clumsyness i fear that i may have an accident in the my home and my child is too young to help.
I would echo whywhy on this but do feel they are signs of anxiety Holly. Personally I would stick with it for a while but you must do as you think love x Ella x
