Hi Schneck, sounds as if your routine has been disturbed. I see you were still awake early? I used to get massive surges of energy in my younger days and this made me smile because I could do with some energy to clean like I used to. It's more of a lick and a promise these days lol. If I wake early hours now , I get up and get a drink and read or watch tv and then try going back to bed. There is nothing worse than laying awake during the night. You imagine all sorts. I think you have it covered love from x Ella x
Hi Ella,
Thanks for your post. I have far to much energy, would love to give you some of mine if I could. Did managed to get some sleep in the end but feeling very agitated today. I am sure it will pass, off to the gym later. X
Hiya Schneck Yes, I have been up and about at all hours when I used to be on medication. It may help if your GP can precribe a sleeping tablet perhaps ?
But keeping busy whatever the time is a good thing if we can't sleep ...better to keep busy than ponder why we can't sleep.
Hope this helps, Have a good day, swan : )
HI Swan,
Thank for replying. Tried sleeping pills last week has severe side effects, so back to square one. Seeing stress therapist next week.... fingers crossed.
How about going for a run etc after dinner (about an hour) of even a powerwalk. Will burn your energy a bit. Then have some night kalms. Have you had some events happening recently?
Yes I have a lot going on at home and work. Not sleeping very well at all which is making my anxeity worse. Feel like running away from it all.
Ah one of those moments. It will pass (it'll feel like years) as long as you accept how you feel. Remember, you have to take action rather than act on re-action to maintain self-control. I don't think you can ever get rid of anxiety but you can learn how to manage it. Something I lost practice. Try to sort out what is niggling away and write it down. Then read it to yourself the next day and hopefully it will look a bit clearer. Perhaps talk to people on the blog about it because chances are other people have had the same experience.
Keep tapping!
