My eyes feel weird too and ive been diagnosed with anxiety dissorder but im also having tests for diabeties, im very dehidrated all the time and this can cause vision disturbances through the dryness through your eyes? What other symtoms do you have? xx

I get lightheaded all the time and dizzy, thats my most common side affect, ive been for my eyes testing and been tested for diabetes n it came back clear xx

I have dizzy spells , & my vision goes weird , I feel the more I get anxious the worse it gets , tiredness as well doesnt help & as most people use alot of energy with their anxiety , I think we are tored quite alot

Try not to focus in on it , the more you do the more you will notice it

Good news is , you have had your eyes tested & they are the first ones that notice if some one has something wrong as they can see in to the back of your eyes & you have been tested for diabetes & everything was ok, so be reasurred , this is anxiety

As said so many times , try not to fight it & it will become less of a fear & then will improve

Tell me what it does not affect!! I have heard of sufferers going to the optician five times a year to have sight adjustments. I went myself yesterday because I thought I had a sight problem. First time for two years. No problem. Then I realised I had actually talked myself into it!!! Old habits do, indeed, die hard. In anxiety you can have blurred vision; everything going dark; twitching eyelids; double vision; aching eyes..........need I go on? The muscles of the eyes are very delicate and the slightest nerve upset can cause them to go into spasm, hence the above symptoms. But ALL totally harmless. Provided your GP has given you the OK go along with the symptoms. It does pass. It all passes so accept and press on. Kind regards. jonathan.

My CBT Therapist explained brilliantly why we get every symptom during a Panic Attack. The vision is looking for possible predators, the sickness and feeling of needing to go to the loo is the body ready to lighten itself to prepare to run or deter the predator with a foul smell ( thought that was funny) the face drains of blood because we do not need muscles in the face to fight ,so the body sends it to other parts of the body that is why we get the Arms and Legs tingling,To run or fight requires our arms and legs.Try to think of this during an Attack and tell yourself that this is the fantastic mechanism your body has of looking after you. Close your eyes during an Attack. Unless like me you have one driving at 70 mph on the motorway LOL

Best Wishes x

I have been suffering from severe anxiety for about a year and half now, It has been shifting symptoms like the sneaky rat it is, about 6 month now my head has been feeling funny and my vision gets all funky its hard feeling to explain and it usually starts in the late afternoon, My question here is if you guys do anything to alleviate this, I cant even drive its affecting my life and I get this every single day even when at at my most relaxed state.

I have had many of these episodes you are talking about. It is hard to explain...feels like everything is enlarged but it is not really!! and seems unreal and I feel weird. It would scare me and I would walk around looking at many things to try snap out of it. It would last 30 mins or more. It would be triggered by focusing too hard on one object, like straining to hard. I used to get it a lot in my teens, twenties and thirties. But for a long time I have not had it now - 10 years or more. The only thing I have done different is remove dairy from my diet. I read somewhere sinus has some link. So removing dairy.. my sinus troubles are completely healed, Almond milk is a great alternative. I went on a strict 3 year diet of reduced wheat, gluten and sugar. Lots of probiotic - Three Lac is the best and cleaned up my body from metals etc by detox. I learned to remove stress (removed myself from people in my life that caused me to stress) and stay peaceful, laugh more often..."laughter is like medicine" so the great book says! And I have been free from these weird visions, I had one the the last 10years but as soon as it came I just ignored it , and it went away. Best wishes on your journey to find good health!

Go online to Google and type in "Paul David "at last a life free download" think it's the 3rd or 4th link down. Read this book it will really help you understand anxiety and how it works. It's really helped my recovery. I still get weird stuff going on with my eyes But I think it's repeated to migraines
