Hi Spanna, yes I've had CBT via webcam, certainly helped with my panic disorder, i was struggling to even leave the house before I started but that soon went... still have health anxiety and general anxiety at times but it was certainly worth it. I think the best thing about it is it gives you tools to handle difficult situations, where i may have collapsed in the past i'm now more able to cope. Hope it goes well for you :)

Hi Spanna

I m in the middle of it.I have to say is helping me..gives u tools to deal with panick attack.but it s the exposure the hardest bit.i have to face my fears and it's more easy to say than do it.but with the right tools something quite impossible to do for me it s becoming possible and a reality.and also will give u confidence in your self which is good .I have to take baby step do things that I hate to do but I m doing it,so fingers crossed I will just getting better and better even it will take me ages!!hugs

Hi Spanna,

I have had CBT on two occasions, and it helped me. I had two good therapists, who I got along with famously, which helps.

As the previously lady said it gives you the tools to deal with anxiety. Give it time, because the therapy is full on, I didn't know I had so many feelings I had never dealt with.

Good luck and stick with it.

Hi Spanna,

Yes it's helped me. It's something you have to practice all the time, so remember to keep any notes you are given etc so that you can keep referring to it after your therapy has ended, just to help you to remind yourself of what you should be doing/ thinking etc CBT does make a lot of sense and I agree with train80 that exposure is the hardest, it's what we all want to avoid really. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Good luck

I think it gives you lots of good tools - just need to follow through with it. Is very focused on being a self help course.

Hope it helps.
