The road to recovery is an up and down one. I do believe however that I am now heading in the right direction. I am actually finding myself enjoying life more and more. The setbacks are irritating but they only pull me down a little bit.

Blog number 2 on this forum and I have to agree with Sue. My road to recovery has been rocky too but there is light at the end of the tunnel. It seems at times as though everything is against you and with the new changes to the NHS it really can be. Fortunately I am a care worker so I know the best and correct way to complain. Often your needs are classified as' low priority, which means you have to push professionals and chase them up with courteous but direct and assertive calls. Sometimes they even respect you for this and respond accordingly. It pays I think to have some well researched background information about your condition and go from there. Well informed is well prepared is well treated is my motto for this.
Remember there is hope and beta blockers ?!

Thanks for your messages of encouragement. After yesterday I am now feeling less positive.
