Hello again everyone. I am having a hard time right now and thought getting some feelings out may help. I am trying to practice acceptance, but I got very little sleep last night and it's been rough going.
Anyone else have anxiety for weeks on end? I am attempting to break the cycle but I am getting the "I'm the only one going through it this way" thoughts and would just like to hear from some other people. It has been pretty high today because of tiredness which always get me a bit anxious anyway, and it has been ramping pretty high coming in waves. I am learning to appreciate the breaks and accepting that the next wave is coming. Being pretty new to acceptance it's been a bit rough but I will keep trying.
Thank you for your time, any responses would be appreciated.

Thank you for the kind response. I have been looking into Dr. weeks during this bout of anxiety. A friend also recommended Unwinding Anxiety, it's a book and phone app. It has had immediate effect on coping with symptoms and relearning my response to the anxiety. Combining it with the Dr. weeks techniques has had some amazing breakthrough for my mental health.
Hey you're not alone I normally have more anxiety when I know there's an event going on. I find doing distracting myself with a hobby like drawing helps and I've heard colouring in books is rather therapeutic. lso here's plenty of apps on phone you can download like Calm or Headspace which is my favourite so far. There's guided meditations and breathing exercises that may help with your sleep too. Lavender pillow sprays are a great investment too. Hope I can help a little
Excellent recommendations. I have started using the calm app as my credit card gave me $50 off the yearly sub. It has been great so far. As for dealing with the anxiety attacks as they happen I have been using a "breathe into the anxiety" technique that has been a game changer for me. Thank you for the kind response.
