How to deal with anxiety

Thatqueenforever1234 profile image

So after all my symptoms I did another round of blood test for the third time and also an MRI for the second time and everything is still normal, so at this point is really hard to convince myself that anxiety can cause body aches and headaches and other symptoms. But I think my main problem is that I can’t stop overthinking and thinking in the what if’s I just simply can’t stop worrying about the future and my health. Does anyone know what can I do to treat these thoughts? And also to help overcome my anxiety. I need help ASAP please

My first symptom was that I felt like the floor was sinking or a soft mattress and then I started having body aches , mainly my left arm and left leg and sometimes the other leg, also pain neck and lower abdominal pain

I know how scary all this is! But if you’ve had all tests done you have to put it down to anxiety and find a way to cope. Try searching up the dare book or watching them on YouTube. It’ll help. You have to learn to accept it. It sounds harsh but I’ve had the worst anxiety ever and this is the only thing that helps.

I'm sorry you are going through this. Anxiety is really hard to deal with. Have you tried CBT? Or medication at all?

Breathing excersizes can really help. Try the Thrive app, or Headspace for ideas.

I hear there is a book by Clare Weeks that is very well recommended also.

Good morning I feel your pain! I can only tell you how I deal with health anxiety I feel once you understand why your triggered you can then start to train your brain into swapping unrealistic thoughts for realistic ones and negative thinking for positive thinking. Make a start and stick to it- hopefully if you keep at it you will start to feel a difference and if will get easier to manage. Sending love and strength ✨💖 my daily mantra is “I’ve got this” remember to correct your breathing pattern maybe whilst walking the symptoms off this really helps when I start to feel symptoms like Iam going to pass out ( I never have ) distraction is the key! You’ve got this!💪🏻🤗

Thank you for your comment ☺️ I will definitely try it!

Anxiety can cause headaches, muscle pain, twitches, dizziness, muscle weakness, and so so so much more. It’s hard to believe nothing more sinister is wrong. If I gave you my list of symptoms you’d be shocked.

Anxiety is really exhausting, would you mind me asking some of your symptoms? And did you have any blood tests done?

I had blood tests, thyroid tests, CT scans, x-ray, EKG, you name it. I don’t want to scare you with all my symptoms. I’ll just say I’ve been dizzy, light headed, full limbs, full body twitching, ocular migraines, body shaking, things in my vision seeming to move in their own, tinnitus, plus many others. I finally stopped going to the doctor with every new symptom since they never found anything.

Reading your symptoms and o suffer from most of them too it’s horrible can I ask you your symptoms with tinnitus I struggle to go to sleep at night seems like it’s worst

I can actually relate to one of your symptoms and it’s really scary, and I think I’m going to stop going to the doctor cause they just don’t find anything, may I also ask for how long have you been suffering these symptoms?
