Hi there I'm new to all this online support stuff I've struggled with anxiety and depression since I was 9 I am now 28. I'm on medication and I see a therapist once a week but its hard I worry about so many things all the time. Health anxiety is a big fear of mine along with just anxieties of like am I going to get from my job out of the blue or if my house going to burn down. I just think it would be nice to hear from others who struggled day in and day how but keep pushing forward in their fight with anxiety and depression.

Hi there health anxiety is horrible to live with I’ve had it for many years I constantly check my health my family’s health my plug sockets to makes sure my house won’t burn when I leave the house etc etc it’s constantly there intrusive thoughts it’s draining
Hello, I can totally relate about the health anxiety. I check my blood pressure a few times a day. And check my temperature. And the burning down the house I worry about it all the time. We have gas & I sometimes think the house will blow up. We have crazy neighbors & they have small children who don’t listen and I’m always scared they will play with the gas. Some days are better than others, try to hang in there 😊
I always sound like a broken record when I reply to some people because I feel like most people already know this… but read Hope and Help for your Nerves by Dr Claire Weekes or listen to her old youtube podcasts. Another good book is DARE. They are amazing.
