Lletz treatment

So I have my Lletz treatment tomorrow and I'm really nervous about it! Is there anyone who has had this done and can tell me more about it?

Hey there! I just read your post so not sure if you've already had the procedure done or not. I had the same treatment back in 2002. It was super easy and quick. I actually requested to be put to sleep for it, and I think the preparation to get me ready for going under was longer than the actual procedure. I don't recall needing much time for recovery, either. And I've never had any issues with abnormal paps after that. Good luck and speedy recovery. Everything will be ok!

Thank you so much for your reply! I read your message just before I went in and made me feel much better 😊 . It wasn't as bad as I thought, the worst part was when they put the speculum in! 😱. Had to do a few breathing exercises whilst they did the injections too. I had local anesthetic but it was only a small area they removed so it was over in a few minutes! Just had a few cramps since leaving the hospital, no blood has come yet, so all good so far 😊. Again, thanks for your message!
