I've realized that work makes my anxiety spike up almost everyday. It's so hard to take control over my thoughts, I end up doing nothing. I begin sweating and sometimes procrastinating to an extreme limit. Nothing gets done and then I am anxious about 'keeping up.'
How do you deal with this? Is there a way to feel like you're not going to be attacked every single day?

Try reminding yourself of how relieved you'll feel once a specific task is done 🙂 less work=one less thing to feel anxious about. Start by setting SMALL goals and reward yourself when you've accomplished them.Other option- look for a completely different job if possible? Having your anxiety flair up like that on a regular basis isn't healthy in the long run.
hello bluevalentine I have anxiety at work and school I am an apprentice I can relate to this I sometimes want to quit because of my thinking what I do is I tell myself I can do this and I keep repeating it and it helps me through what I am doing. Keep your head up and say to yourself that you can do whatever it is you are doing at work. I believe in you.
I can understand this. It's a loop that keeps playing over and over again. I want to walk out but I don't see how sometimes. But thank you for your advice!
Hey hope you’re douing well, I face same problem, i start overthinking about problems and procrastinating. I try to distract myself from work by doing unproductive things, i know it’s bad for my career. I try to take my workmates less seriously and to accommodate few productive stuff to distract myself like solving some CP problems or reading something. May be someday I will be able to take things less seriously and stop procrastinating and overthinking. Hope you will find someway out of this, inform me as well if you do.
I've noticed that my anxiety comes in the form of resistance of something. So sometimes giving myself space and allowing my fears to surface works really well. It'll get better with time, that's what I tell myself.
