Fast heart rate

I keep getting really fast heart rate for no reason which is making me feel so panicky and sweaty i found this letter last year from cardiology does this mean all my heart is fine. I just keep thinking my hearts going to explode!! It’s so fast right now it’s unreal. I can’t even move without it going sky high gives me shortness of breath! Does anyone get fast heart rate all the time?

I'm no medical professional but the letter indicates there are no problems with your heart, it's a fine healthy heart. You say that your heartbeat is fast but how many beats per minute? I believe you will find the BPM are a lot less than you think. Normal is between 60 and 100bpm at rest. Your heart is a very strong and tough muscle and you are young, it can take an elevated bpm for quite some time and we are discussing this in an Anxiety Forum. But for your reassurance it's best to see your doctor to check it out - or if persistent go to A&E for their opinion.

It has gone up to 180 before but it’s because I can feel my heart racing and then panic even more just horrible the fast heart rate just wondered if anyone gets it

I have heard of it before. For fast reassurance you have the option of going to A&E/ER right away and I think this is the course I would take.

I’m not sure if u have been on beta blockers before but they will really help with your fast heartbeat! I take 1x 40mg a day and really helps! Worth talking to your doctor about it! x

Yeah they can drop your blood pressure too low! It seems that your body is flooded with adrenaline which is causing a lot of your symptoms! With all anxiety sufferers we have low gaba levels and adrenal fatigue! Supplements that really help are Vitamin b6 p5p version, magnesium glycinate and zinc! x

I go through the same thing. I went to a cardiologist two years ago and they told me everything was fine. One time I had my husband call me an ambulance because my heart rate hit 175 and my chest started hurting. I kind of worked myself up though. I panicked and it made it sky rocket. Occasionally when I walk upstairs I get breathless and it will increase. I’m only 30 and I recently started working out more to help ease the anxiety. It actually has helped lower my heart rate some.

Yh it’s horrible ain’t it!! Like all people around me have normal heart rates and mines constantly high!!! I even move and it shoots up when it goes super high feel like I’m going to collapse I just don’t know what’s causing it don’t help when I recognise it’s racing then start to panic 100x worse. I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels what I’m feeling and gets me x

Hi Kaaayla I was diagnosed with a racing heart but Doctors have dismissed it and was not bothered by this diagnosis. I had a heart monitor fitted for 5 days and that was the outcome. So hopefully yours is nothing to worry about. If you are then do go back to your Doctor. Good Luck 🤞

Hello. So what did they say that u just have a fast heart rate?

Hi well to be honest I was phoning the Doctor for something else and when I mentioned about having my results back the Doctor said oh it looks like you have a racing heart but then said one thing at a time!! As you know your Doctor can only discuss one thing at a time so it got dismissed. All I can say is I either contact them again which trying to get arranged is a nightmare plus if it was serious they would have contacted me!! But I have other ongoing problems atm so haven’t pursued it yet!!

I know I'm late but I remember all the issues youve had with this. Have they helped you at all on this? I know I was put on propranolol er for my heart rate being so fast. Any updates?
