Swaying, rocking back and fort and dizziness

Hi. So excuse me in advance english isnt my main language so i may have spelling errors.

I have this symptom of rocking back and fort when im still, this is not inside of me, people can see it. When i lay down i feel like im in boat and the constant moving is making me dizzy all the time. Ive been like this for two months now.

If im doing something like cooking or walking a cant feel it but the problem is when i want to relax i star to feel it and specially at night i cant sleep because of it. A bunch of times i was so stressed that i wanted to hit my head in the wall so the feeling could go away.

Months before this i had the rocking feeling too, but usually went away after minutes, then some days lasted for 4 hours, then it lasted 12 hours but it didnt make me feel dizzy, in some positions (like sleeping in my left side) helped. But this two months have been a nightmare, it doesnt go away, the only thing that helped in some way was sleeping on the floor because it was solid i didnt bounced like on a matress.

I had some blood tests and my cholesterol was high, had mild iron deficiency and high platelets. I had high cholesterol and high platelets before and never felt like this. My doctor said the iron problem wasnt severe, and ive been taking supplements for it.

My mother told me probably it was anxiety and yes i suffer from anxiety but ive never had this symptoms, it usually was hearth palpitations, owel problems but never this.

Ive read other post of people with similar symptoms but they say the rocking feeling is inside of them, mine is visible.

Does someone have an idea of what it could be?

Hi try safe pgs, that rocking sensation can be both internal or external. I use to get outer

rocking. It was embarrassing to say the least. Sometimes I tried to hide it with a cough or

fidget in my seat if people were around. It all has to do with our over sensitized nervous

system and the amount of adrenaline in our system.

When you are active, it helps use up some of that extra adrenaline. However, when you

finally sit down to relax for the evening, the adrenaline has no where to go and gets expelled

by your body automatically swaying or rocking.

There was a time that I set up a thin mattress on the floor to stop that sensation of the

bed moving (which made me dizzy) everytime I moved. I kinda liked it maybe too much

and slept on the floor for over a year.

As I got to understand and attack anxiety and it's quirky symptoms, I put myself back

in control. When I was standing in line at the checkout, I would move my feet as if I

were riding a bike and it worked in helping me not to sway in line. We all need to find

what works for us. The biggest thing is knowing where it comes from and that anxiety

is not a medical cause but a psychological one. :) xx

Rocking to comfort yourself?? Dizziness is iron and anxiety. You can change diet to cut down your calesterol.

The body does that for many reasons. If you been to the dr and ran down tests.

Have you experienced trauma ? Body does this to comfort self.

What about ears? Off balance feeling???

Have you had tests for vertigo? This can be caused by an imbalance of fluid in your inner ear.
