Swaying feeling and loss of control

Does anyone else experience swaying/rocking feelings from stress and anxiety? I have before and it went away and just came back when I was in the shower. The whole tub felt like it was moving and I couldn’t stand up straight. Crying now because I’m sick of not ever feeling normal.

I could have written this.

I always feel like this. Normally constant no matter what I’m doing.

It’s horrible. I feel lightheaded and like I’m going to pass out too. Horrible. You are not alone x

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this too :(

Does it feel like the floor is moving below your feet and you have to hold on to something even though you are standing still? For me it’s worse whenever I’m in the shower for some reason. I haven’t had this happen in a while but I’ve under a ton of stress the past few weeks.

Mine started when I was in the shower. I used to jump about because I was so giddy I thought I would fall. Yep the ground would move underneath me. Was awful.

I have it constantly now. And it’s changed to a lightheaded faint feeling instead. And that’s pretty much 24/7. It’s so debilitating x

Yep. I had this feeling you describe and then some (swaying buildings and visual disturbances I can only describe as watching an old movie where I'm only catching every 6th or 7th frame. It was all due to anxiety. Went to a therapist for CBT and it completely cleared up in 2 months.
