Heart skipping a beat!

Its now over 1 month that all day, everyday I have heart palpitations , or fluttering. I am already on 50mg of metoprolol and it just seemed to stop working. Went to cardiologist - wore a holter monitor for a week and got an echo done. Has this happened to anyone?

Well I have had both of these tests. Have you gotten the results yet. If not, you might call your doctor as the results are known very quickly.

I looked at your old posts and see that you have PVCs. My cardiologist has told me that these are benign, but have to be kept an eye on. Hopefully you have the results of your recent tests by now. x

Yes I have this every day. Doctor said they were benign heartbeats. That doesn’t mean they’re going to go away, only that they weren’t deadly or doing damage to my heart. I take atenolol 50mg for mine. Some days I have only a few palpitations and some a lot. You have to learn to live with them and not let it freak you out every time your heart skips a beat. Eventually you can do it.
