Was laying down watching tv when suddenly I felt my heart skip a couple of beats so I obviously got up really scared and I can’t stop panicking since then which I know will bring on a vicious cycle. I’ve felt these before and I haven’t died but each time this happens it feels like the first time all over again and I psych myself out. 😓

hi ...i have always had palpitations but just recently i am having skipped beats ,if i take my pulse i can feel them missing a beat ...iv had an ECG and blood test and all was clear .i am about to have a heart monitor for a week to try and catch them. have you been investigated as you say you have had them for 10 years ?
Yes I was like you, very worried at the time. I'm also quite unique because I'm constantly aware of my heart beat so I can feel it without having to take my pulse and I occasionally feel tiny heart flutters which do not feel great.
I did have some tests done and they told me that nothing was wrong, a skipping heart beat is actually more common than I thought. They concluded that my anxiety could be the main reason behind it.
Anyway I hope that helps with your worry towards it. It's a brilliant sign your ECG and blood tests came back clear, it's all sounding very positive ❤
I’m also constantly aware of my heart without feeling my pulse. My cardiologist also told me that it’s very common and that i’m one of the few that can actually feel the skipped beats. I’ve had so many tests done and all they found were PVCS and PACS and a few atrial runs.
hi sweet ...you sound young ? how old are you ? just letting you know i am 61 and have had palpitations eversince i was a teenager and hey im still here so i wouldnt worry to much about these ....i have only ever had one ECG done and that was many years ago and was normal .seek advice from your doctor if you wish because i am not a doctor but i bet you any money you are absolutely fine x
I am 22 years old and started having them since I was 15 years old. I’ve had several tests done that show my heart is fine but I’m so sensitive to the palpitations that I panic each time I feel one
I had bad ones lastnight when I was laying down was catching my throat it was like my heart wasn’t beating right for couple seconds then went back to normal I think they heart flutters or eptopic beats they are very scary! I just tried not to think about it or feed my fear because I know I would get in a state! I’m still here the next day telling you this so I think with us it’s just anxiety xx
I usually have the racing heart. Somtimes I feel like it skips a couple of beats but am unsure. I do take propranolol er for the heart to slow down but sometimes the heart feels like it is going in slow motion then. Feels weird.
hi ...i have got to have a heart monitor on for a week also as i am having missed beats ...ii had a ECG yesterday which showed normal and blood test came back normal so they want me to wear a heart monitor ....dont be scared we can do this together ,we can keep intouch
