Sweating to death🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Theres no support for hyperhidrosis on here unfortunately cause I seem to be the only one that sweats so bad my body is drenched. Sitting here right now doing nothing is making me sweat profusely. It never stops and causes severe anxiety when out and about. My head sweats so profusely that my hair drips and sweat drips continually off my face. Life is unbearable with this condition. It interferes with trying to work even. I live in Las Vegas NV where its summer most of the year and super hot making sweating horrific. I'm poor and have no way to move. I get to the point where I'm suicidal it's so humiliating cause everybody just stares me down. All I want is this to go away but I know it never will. 😭😭😭😭

Is it caused by your anxiety? If not, and if it is a medical problem there may be some treatments. Maybe ask your doctor.

I have severe anxiety and panic attacks anytime I leave apt. I'm agoraphobic so having to go do something causes severe anxiety. I've tried some meds to control it and even those dont stop sweating. Only other thing that works cost big bucks and I'm on disability and I'm dirt poor.

I'm going to get a womens dr to see if it may be caused by hormone imbalance.

Thanks for your reply😁

I use to have get that profuse sweating when my anxiety was at it's highest especially during the summer months. I'd even wake up in sweat though the A./C was on. My nervous system

was running on high even when sleeping. I would mention it to your doctor as we can't

blame everything on anxiety. Hope you get this issue solved. As for people staring you down, I'd stare right back. After all it is quite common for women to have these spells of overheating. Take care my friend :) xx

Thanks Agora1! Did it ever get better for you? Did the overheating stop? I get that feeling of a torch blazing at me at 2000 degrees. Its beyond awful. I've got tank top, shorts and flip flops on here in Las Vegas but it's only 75. I'm going to die during summer!!!! Anxiety gets severe once the sweating takes over I just want to run home and hide. Like just now. I just got back from triple AAA getting car registered. Having to wear a mask makes me sweat a zillion times more. It was so bad just glad to be back home.

I've got to make appt with womens dr to see if its hormones. I just cannot live like this 24 7.

Thank you dear friend😁

It can very well be hormones or even a medication that you might be on.

And yes it do go away for me but not until anxiety no longer was an issue.

I can only imagine that wearing a mask makes it worse. Good Luck with the doctor.

Take care my friend. Enjoy your evening, think cool positive thoughts :) xx

If it isnt hormones and just a sweat problem I'm screwed. I've tried pills etc. Drs cant help either. Luckily yours went away! Its unbearable and humiliating. If your anxiety went away that's great!

Yes wearing a mask is literally suicide. You have to wear them here in vegas which sucks. When its 75 degrees or higher which is coming in a week I'm going to suffocate. I sweat even faster with it on. So once its 110 plus degrees here I'm probably going to end up in hospital.

Hope your doing great and take care too!!

I was on one called oxybutnin and I sweat the same. I tried other one and didnt help either. Drs cant help cause I've been to them and all they say is surgery to kill off the sweat glands or botox. I'm homeless poor so my options are zero. I'm stuck being miserable and hating life!

Yes I have heard of that surgery for the sweat glands. Cost has got to be high x

Sorry to hear of your problems. Firstly as mentioned by others, is your problem primary or secondary hyperhydrosis ? It may be good to look at sweathelp.org. It’s the official hyperhidrosis website and you will find good advice on it.

I live in the UK and healthcare is free. I am on Probantheline which is very effective. Because you’re in America your medical system is different. You may need to resort to self help. As previous people have said check your medication. A lot of anxiety drugs cause excessive sweating.

Next look at your diet. Do you eat a lot of spicy foods?

Are you overweight?

Try and exercise each day. Get up in the morning and go exercising when it’s cool and there’s no one about. It’s amazing what feeling good about yourself does to your psyche

Let me know how you get on

Its head to toe hyperhidrosis! I sweat profusely from every single sweat gland on the body. I've tried to get help! Of course I hate this condition!!! Hair and clothes are soaked within minutes! All I'm ever doing is wiping me forehead 24 7 so I can see but doesn't even help cause I sweat heavily, fast and hard. I've gained weight which I know contributes to most of it cause I was thinner when I moved to vegas but after many attempts to quit smoking has caused me to overeat. I now have a month and 3 days smoke free again. I eat way too much sugary foods which is the second contributor to sweating so bad!

I'll have to lose this weight and stop the excessive sugar to get the sweating more under control.

It's full body hyperhidrosis. I've tried and took oxybutnin for quite a long time. The dry mouth was horrible plus I still sweat profusely. Tried others but didnt work. As far as exercising I've always hated it. I've tried but give up quickly. Plus here in Las Vegas ppl are out everywhere 24 7. Plus I have severe anxiety and panic disorder causing agoraphobia so I cant leave my apt. Plus yes im overweight which does actually cause my sweating to get worse and trying not to gain anymore. It's hard cause I just stopped smoking 5 days ago

Thanks so very much!!! I better get a womens dr soon to see if theres things to take like you said. I haven't had the monthly monster for a few months now I think so I'm curious if I've moved from perimenopause into menopause. That will truly be a nightmare since the sweating is completely taken over. It's so humiliating. My boss at a caregiving agency said right in front of a client how do you even get a job done all smart ass like. Could not believe it and I haven't contacted them since last week. I said right to her face you think I choose this???? I'm still irate at her!!! All I do is wipe my face so I can see but the sweat rag gets sooooo drenched its impossible to stay dry enough to see. I've taken oxybutnin for a long time. The dry mouth and me sucking on lifesavers has destroyed my teeth and now have only a few teeth. I cant even eat anything. I'm pathetic and rather die. Anyhoo I dont want to start crying again and again so I'll just ty for that advice. Sorry I just cant take a second more of life.

Thank you so much for backing me about saying that to employment agency. It was humiliating and devastating. As far as oxybutnin goes the dry mouth was just as bad plus I was still sweating profusely even taking it. Dont think it even helped that much. I live in Las Vegas NV and its soooooo darn hot here which makes life a nightmare. About eating I'm eating fruity pebbles and cocoa pebbles for cereal and lots of chocolate pudding with marshmallows. Ugh. Smoothies I make too!!

All good I know the feeling

People shouldnt be allowed to say hurtful things

Hot weather doesn't help for sure

If oxybutinin doesn't help, a lady Dr could

Hormone replacement pills gr8 may take a couple of weeks to work but I found them good

Lmk how u get on

Bit late here but I'm in the UK and have horrible all over body HH apart from feet. Had it for ten years which happened around menopause but hormone patches didn't help. I've tried all the meds and they either don't work or have horrendous sideeffects. I'm worse in cold and triggered by anxiety and exertion. Worse time I had to change clothes 27 times day time when I had a cold and it was winter. I've been told it's dysautonomia. I have ME/CFS and Fibro too among anxiety conditions and autism.
