Help please!

I’m literally at work and freaking out! I was talking to my manger and got suddenly hot, overwhelmed fear, feeling like idk who I was, or this world. Even now I’m scared and worried so much. I called my dr. My mind feels freaked out. I called my dr about my stumbling and jumbling words he feels it may be stress or anxiety.

Any advice? Please and thanks

This literally just happened to me, hence why i’m on here!!

I’m currently laying down trying to look for answers. I’ve had panic attacks before but I was standing and talking to a friend when all of a sudden a wave of fear and worry went through my whole body and I felt like I was suddenly gonna stop breathing or I was gonna lose control. I literally felt like I was about to drop dead. I kept trying to focus on one object and I felt my ears getting hot and I started feeling dizzy and nauseous. I’ve been extra stressed lately but I wasn’t thinking about any stressors or about my normal and common anxiety. This hit me out of nowhere. I’m just as scared as you.

Take care!!

Yes! It’s the worse! I’m literally sitting in my car! It’s so scary! My heart is racing now and I’m shaking! I felt like I was loosing my mind, like I was talking to my manger and literally fear and worry came over me as well. I had to tel her one minute idk what’s wrong with me and downhill from there

Hi Brokenworry, it definitely was an adrenaline rush that you had which produced all the symptoms. The minute you told your manager "I don't know what's wrong with me", the floodgates opened and the fear it an all time high.

This is something we need to practice at home each day and that is Acceptance that Anxiety is not harmful. When it does happen, it's best not to feed into it (I know it's hard)

but to allow it to pass at it's own pace. Check your breathing when you first feel like something is going to happen. Without realizing it, you may have been hyperventilating or even holding your breath while talking with your manager.

I hope once you got home, you settled down and are feeling better. Probably worn out but better. :) xx

Thank you. I was talking to her and all of a sudden I get light headed and it all went down hill. Thank you! Is it normal I felt I was loosing my mind? Or it’s like I felt out of reality.

Definitely quite normal. It sounds like you were hyperventilating which made

you get lightheaded as well as out of reality. I remember those days so well.

Have you by chance taken a look at Dr Claire Weekes' "Hope & Help for Your Nerves" on YouTube? A great video to watch or read her book. :) xx

Thank you. I always though hyperventilating it’s like short of breath I was more siting there ....

When internally tense, we can either start breathing faster or erratic or even at times

hold our breath. I use to catch myself doing that when sitting and talking on the phone. Practicing breathing meditation at home can prepare you for stressful

situations. YouTube has some great 5 minute Breathing Meditations. It's about

getting your breathing in sync when you are anxious. :) xx

I’m feeling ok.... still

Very anxious and just had a crying spell. I’m just sitting and breathing. I keep thinking I’m scared it won’t last long me being calm. Earlier was so scary I felt like I was loosing it.

Crying is good as it is a hormonal release of tension.

At one time, I cried each and every day for 5 years straight.

I don't think there are any more tears left in me lol

The truth is that I found a different way to regenerate each day by

Meditation and Breathing.. :) xx

A panic attack. I used to get them all the time. I would get hot, numb, and out of body feeling and couldn’t remember anything after it happened. Meditation helped me alot
