I'm out with my family for a meal and I literally feel like I'm swaying on my chair. I know I'm not, but in my head I am. It feels really wishy washy! My legs feel really weak. And I've got a slight headache. It's horrible! I don't know what to do. How is this anxiety? I literally feel drunk!

Feel like I'm swaying
Are u on medication which could maybe make u feel like this till u get used to it?
I have started a very mild dose only on 10mg (would be a week tomorrow I've been on them)
But this started before I started taking the pills I feel like I'm dying
Hi JLouise, I sympathize with you sooo much. I remember going out with the family for a meal on Sunday. As much as I love to eat, fighting that swaying feeling in the chair was enough to give me a tension headache every time. I was scared to death that I'd make a scene, but no one else seemed to notice. So much for family time. I'd go home and have to take an Advil. You think I had done hard labor but it was hard emotional work I was going through. I wish you on this one. xx
It was an awful feeling. I just couldn't concentrate on anything or anyone. I felt like I was drunk and was worried if I stood up if just fall back down.
I so hear you. I remember that feeling like it was yesterday. Something is not right with our nervous system. It's always in hyper state. I keep researching and studying new writings on anxiety/depression hoping for an answer in the near future. It seems to be coming to light more now a days than before when it was talked about in a whisper. If you had to, do you have a antianxiety med that you could take before going next time? I'm sorry you must be worn out. I hope the evening goes better for you. x
