Literally scared !!
Hi MooreZhi, Welcome to the support site. The chances of you having a heart attack
at 16 are very low especially since you have had an EKG and Chest X-ray. Your doctor
would have picked up some signs if your heart was unstable.
A more important question is when did this all start? What happened just prior
to you experiencing these symptoms that you relate with your heart?
The answer to those 2 questions might very well be the answer to what's going on.
We're here to help you through this difficult time. It's going to be okay. You are with
others who have gone through the same concerns and fears. xx
Hi this all started when corona started I was very scared and freaking out about it everyday scared my family would get it and give it to me , ever since then I’ve been obsessed with my health and stopped sleeping I got chest pains and throat hurt my anxiety started with scaring symptoms and didn’t even know it was anxiety until I got intrusive thoughts and all types of pains and things
I always think it’s something wrong with my health or something will happen to me and do much going on in the world are making the thoughts worse
The “weird” head feeling is probably brain fog, anxiety causes this drastically. It’s hard to focus and hard to concentrate, creates a even bigger spiral of anxiety. I get this almost daily, it gets worse when I start worrying. The odds of you having a heart attack at your age are slim to none, especially with a recent EKG, the weakness in your body is exhaustion from overacting your brain, anxiety causes you to tense more than you realize. You’re always tense. I have a tendency to pop my jaw, which causes my temples and ears to hurt. I don’t even notice I’m doing it. And then I spazz about why they hurt. I’m 19, so I completely understand how unsettling it is to be so young and so worried abt your health. I’ve been to the ER 3 times in the past year and the doctors over 15 times. I’ve been on medication and decided that route wasn’t for me, but sometimes it’s for others!! So if you feel like it may help, I was on BUSPAR which keeps my heart rate steady during panic attacks, which helps to calm your brain down quicker. I was having 3 panic attacks minimum daily, literally. But it gets better, the anxiety may stay, but the panic attacks, they get better. Some take longer than others. I’ve been having anxiety like this since I was 9 haha. But it comes and it goes. You’re young though!! So just think like that, heart attacks are pretty much out of range at your age. It’s not even recommended to have a EKG until you’re 21. If you ever need someone to talk to you can direct message me!!
