I hate Anxiety

I was just eating pizza minding my own business and all of a sudden- boom. The weird feelings hit me. It’s like a wave through my brain and body and I feel like I can’t breathe.. like I can’t get a big enough breath. I hear my heart beating but it’s not going fast but it feels like it until I put my finger on my wrist to check my pulse. I start burping and my hands and fingers are tingling. It’s hard to focus. It’s like everything has slowed down in time. It’s ok. Is this it? A blood clot? An aortic dissection? A stroke? No Shutup brain. You’re gonna be ok. This will be over soon. Right? Right, sure, ok. Just don’t let anything bad happen to me. Please God. Deep slow breaths. Here comes the chest discomfort and bobble head feeling. Ok you can cry now it’s over.

anon, it is going to be okay. Let it run it's course. Prove to yourself and anxiety

that it can't put these lies in your head anymore. You will no longer believe them.

Hope you get to enjoy your pizza. I'm just having some too :) xx

It’s so hard. I know I have a panic disorder but why.. why and when does it end. :( I feel wore out now and I have a slight headache. x 😕

I use to get the same thing anon.

Completely worn out is because the nervous system is overloaded and

takes time to completely relax again.

The headache is a given because of the tight, tense muscles we exhibit

during that panic. Find a quiet spot to call your own for 10 minutes

and give yourself some "me time". Breathe and exhale long and slow.

Make sure you hydrate. Bring your shoulders down away from your ears.

Ahhh that's right. You just might be able to beat that headache from getting

worse by doing this for 10 min. Breathe :) xx

Ugh. The feelings keep coming and going out of nowhere as soon as I think everything is ok again... I hate it. Thankyou for the advice, I’ll sure take it. 😊

It’s so uncomfortable. Especially the little waves that come and go after a huge one. It’s like torture. I’d prefer one and done. :(

I’m so sorry you’re also going through it.

Go see a herbalist or naturopath, I take L Theanine and they have stopped. You don't have to suffer. Panic disorder, its the same. get help now xx

Since you mention eating pizza, it could be gluten intolerance and celiac. Many people who suffer from gluten intolerance/celiac report they suffer from "celiac attacks" where they can have intense anxiety/depression after eating gluten(pizza). It's a possibility everyone with anxiety/depression need to rule out but few people know about it. There is an estimated 3 million people in the us who have celiac but 97% are undiagnosed!!I think it's like 10% people have gluten intolerance. Just some food for thought.

Excellent idea i had also read about mostly children on why so many are suffering from anxiety and panic attacks. Celiac and gluten intolerance is global and yes it can effect adults as well as children resulting in mild to major anxiety disorders. Personally i think it is Bayer/Monsanto poisoning all or much of our food supply with poison such as glycosophate. It is poison with serious physical (cancer) and mental consequences.

in reply toscotsrish

There are many celiacs/gluten intolerant people who only suffer neuro symptoms. They dont suffer any digestive issues so doctors assume they are just mentally ill and start pushing antidepressants/antipsychotics. It's really sad. Yea I wouldnt be surprised about anything from corrupt companies like bayer/monsanto.

One step forward and three back. It was in the 1800's that the discovery of the mind gut connection was really presented yet there is so little known since this discovery. Sad

This sounds a lot like what I’ve been dealing with the last four years. For me it always started with a sensation of a bomb going off in my head and then my heart rate goes to like, 140 lol how long does it last for you?

Glad you know how to work through it. That's 2/3 of the battle. Good for you.

Don't worry. It's your overactive nervous system. That is taking over your body. Most times it's your 2nd fear kicking in. Is it my heart, lungs, brain, could it be cancer, heart attack, stroke.

Not what you're looking for?
