Venlefaxine

Is anyone else taking Venlefaxine? How does it affect you? I'm changing over to this from Mirtazapine. My GP advised to increase dose to 150mg. I've been on it three and half weeks and not sure it's really helping. I'm not getting major side effects but I feel more depressed and its not helping with anxiety either. I'm also taking some valium for my anxiety at bed time. Feeling really low and alone right now.

I am on Venlafaxine. The side effects I’ve got are weight gain, night mares/vivid dreams, brain fog, I can’t think of any other ones atm.

The side effects are never fun, but this medication has helped me so much.

My doctor and therapist told me when I started it you won’t see a big difference right aways. One day you’ll just realize your not anxious/ or your less anxious about things you normally used to be.
