Feeling isolated with anxiety

Hi everyone! I have been struggling with anxiety for some time now but the past week I had kind of a mental breakdown. I realised I really need to share this with other people because I feel alone and isolated. I feel that I am a weirdo because I feel anxious about taking the bus to work or going to the post office or doing my groceries. I live alone which I enjoy but I recently move and know nobody so I have no one to talk to. I live abroad here in the UK so I have no family here and can't visit them because of the pandemic. I would really like to have regular meetings with a support group but now its not as easy as before. I just wish I didn't feel like this all the time, I wish I didn't have to do a massive effort to do something as simple as taking the bus. This puts so many obstacles in my life, I stop doing so many things because of anxiety, I just want to enjoy my life and stop waisting my own time...

You are not the only one having the jitters. It must be so difficult moving to a new area and being on your own. Just saying hello to someone at the shop till can cheer you up. May be diversion finding a game or a film you can watch might help, or listening to music on the radio. It's drinking eating and having a routine which helps. I find I am behind with my housework, and just do one bit at a time.

Expect you will say hi to neighbours outside. Take care.

We have been in lock down for eleven weeks now, but we are not on our own. Did you move for a new job and found yourself in this position? Do you like your new home? Hope so as it does make a difference. Sure you will get along just fine.

Anxiety is thru the roof right now with many but you can't let it get the best of you or it will grow like an imaginary monster. Push thru the fears or they grow. Also, taking magnesium will calm your mind body and spirit and ginseng will get rid of sticky negative thoughts. They are both beneficial in stress in increased amts and stress depletes them, especially magnesium, oxide or malate are the best types of magnesium, but citrate can give diarrhea so watch for that one. Take them daily, esp in evenings so you will sleep well! =) Best to you, you got this!! You're an overcomer! Breathing exercises help too!
