Yup for sure!! I had lukewarm showers when my anxiety was at its worst. Couldn't handle the heat which I normally love!

Yes it got better, but only after I got my anxiety under control.

I do when it’s really hot but once it’s happened once your gonna think about it every time which will spike your anxiety an do it every time but your fine is what you’ve got to keep telling your self:)

Hi Silverlining101, it's true in what "mrworry" said in that once you have that

on your mind, it can spike your anxiety. However, I remember reading your

posts that said you were anemic. Is that being addressed? A lower blood pressure

can also cause that feeling.. Have you mentioned this to your doctor? :) xx

Hi Agora1 thanks and yes my anemia and bp has been good. I also started drinking more water thinking im dehydrated. I spoke with my doctor and she relates my feeling faint to anxiety. Its just really strange when it happens it makes me depressed and i end up laying around all day long. Only getting up if i really have to. Just a very sad way to live.

As long as your doctor has your anemia and b/p addressed, it

can go back to it being anxiety and what "mrworry" stated.

Once we focus on something negative, we are predisposed to the fear

just thinking about it. It then in turn makes us hold our breath or

breathe shallow and the feeling comes over us. Hydrating is also

super important .

Taking baths/showers as well as washing hair is a very common problem

with anxious people. I had it myself for quite a while until I practiced my

breathing. In time, it just disappeared. Wish you better days. :) xx

Could be low blood pressure, though that's not generally treated in the UK. Might be worth checking the side effects of any medication you're on, and reducing the dose if that is a contributing factor. A cooler shower would help.

This happened to me for months after taking steaming hot showers my whole life. I later found out it was because I had blood clots in both lungs. Not trying to scare you but it’s something you should get checked out.

My fear of blood clots if the reason for my anxiety smh. I have been to the Er a couple times. The first time they did labs and an mri to check for clots there werent any but i have been scared every since.
