These sound similar to how I was, now a Year on and hardly any issues, primarily brought on by stress and anxiety due to worrying I had a brain tumour ! I’ve been there, I understand totally what your going through, it’s hell !

Here if you need a chat

Just wondering, do you wear glasses. 🕶🤡

Perhaps you should have your eyes tested especially if you are squinting to focus. Trouble with your eyes will also cause headaches 😨.x

No I don't only come on since anxiety x

Gjkas in reply toSodown

Yes it could be caused by Anxiety, but it wouldn't hurt to have your eyes tested anyway. It's surprising what the Opticion can pick up on x.

Try a Google search for Home Eye test in your area. (Google Specsavers).

I have a friend who has Agoraphobia and she found them very good. Has her eyes tested every year.

Having a full eye test & examination at home, I think, would be a good place to start. They can find out various things from examing your eyes.

Make sure you ask if there is a charge first . They do NHS eye tests just the same as the Optician on the High Street. So if you qualify for a free eye test then it's free.

Don't let anyone pressure use you to buy glasses - you just want your free eye test. (That's what I say).

I had The Outside CLINIC come to my house to examine my eyes and I honestly thought that they were rubbish. That was 2 years ago.

They were supposed to have come back because i have a lot of pressure behind the back of my left eye.

They said that they couldn't do the full examination on that day, because the machine they needed to do the full examination on my left eye was too big to get into a car ???.

They told me that when they have a few more patients with the same problem that I have, they will be in touch with me again.

Apparently the machine that they use is rather big and has to be delivered by Van.!!!.

Still waiting...I had 1 pair of Distance glasses and I pair of Bifocals, and they cost me over £300. That was supposed to be with help from the N.H.S..HUH.

I expect it cost that much because they came to the house.

When the weather is better my Husband said he's going to get me into my wheelchair and take me to Spec savor in Cwmbran.

I honestly do not recommend them.👀👁👓

Thank you so much Gjkas. I can't find the number of the friend (in Whitchurch) who had a good visiting Optician. And I am in the hospital sitting at my Husband's bedside as he sleeps.

I don't have any experience of the service of the Outsude Clinic but I reported them for their marketing which I thought was misleading and junk mail. However The Welsh Government Minister for Health didn't want to know.

I will amend my reply. Hope it didn't seem like I was recommending the Outside Clinic.

In fact you have given me more fuel for complaint to Health Minister about them.

Don't Specsavers do home visits?

My husband glasses were hundreds in Specsavers.

Edit:

Yes, they do. Just Google 'Specsavers home visit Eye test '. There is also a freephone number.

Hi ,i didn't even think of Specsavors doing house visits. I should have done, because I've always gone to Specsavors in the past..I know we pay a few hundred Pounds for their spectacles, but at least we get what we pay for,.I don't mind that. It's just that I thought Hmm, when the brochure came through the door about the OUTSIDE CLINIC ,it seemed just what I was looking for. But their Brochures and leaflets really are misleading. They are a Con.

The Man that examined my eyes wasn't in the house 20 minutes.

Then when the Girl came with my Frames a few weeks later, she had nothing with her to help bend the arms that went around my ears. She was only here for about 10 minutes.

Terrible service all round!!!.

No i didn't think that you were recommending them, you just mentioned them.

The Welsh Government for Health wouldn't be interested. We are small fry so to speak. Aren't we. ?.Hmm.

I'm glad that I've given you a little extra fuel. We need more people like you..someone that will speak out for people like us. Thankyou.

I m so sorry that you're Husband is in Hospital. Hope everything will turn out fine for him 🤞.

It's so stressful for you as well.

Keep your chin up and Take Care. 🌹..Gjkas

I have the same issue’s but I get light headed a lot I don’t think it’s a tumor it’s just a part of the anxiety I was going to go for a scan also.

All your symptoms, in my opinion, sound like depression mixed with anxiety. I too have had all of those symptoms and my psychiatrist says it is related to my depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. Also depending on your sleeping and eating habits it can make you FEEL worse. You MAY even be experiencing a little depersonalization derealization that is associated with anxiety. Its our brains way of protecting us from potential danger.
