Heart flutters
By all means Lauriem4... nothing is worse than getting stressed to the max and
having no outlet. It sounds like you might have been in the car when the tantrums
erupted. The minute we feel trapped in stress, our fear climbs because adrenaline
does. What might have helped get you home w/o the heart flutters is deep breathing,
exhaling long and slow. Also hydrating.
Once you got home, you were no longer feeling trapped plus you were able to
move your muscles by walking around as well as breathe more deeply. (bringing
down the adrenaline rush) Glad you are feeling better. Treat yourself
You so deserve it xx
Thanks for your reply. Yes i pulled into the petrol station as was panicked as i felt the irregular beats and sweating also probably due to a panic attack as i had been stressed all afternoon .xx
That's quite alright Laurie. You did the right thing in pulling off the road until you
could regain your senses and continue on safely. It sounds like it was a true panic
attack from all the stress of the day. Take some "me time" to breathe today and
relax those tight tense muscles. Make sure you hydrate to replace the water you
lost in sweating. Let us know how you are doing later. xx
Thanks will do . Do you think the irregular beats were caused by the panic and stress?
They were with me Laurie...High levels of adrenaline and being dehydrated
can and does get the heart to flutter... xx
I get heart flutters.. skipped beats and heart races to 160 when I am dumping epinephrine into my system every time I have a panic attack. Also it seems worse when I am stuck in a car or shopping. Hopefully you can get some down time today and focus on breathing or meditation ❤️
Hi there
Yes, i have. I dont worry abtnit when it happens during stressful events but i did see my cardiologist just to be sure it was a nothing event . Hope yhis helps
You were maxed out with stress and then your anxiety took over and you felt any and all movements / palpitations in your body. It happens to everyone but rest assured you are ok, happens to me too. Your body is resilient but you should consider taking 5 minutes next time step outside and take deep breaths. You are good, don’t worry & you aren’t alone.
