cant get over these heart flutters
Hello, i was wondering is it linked to foods you eat i have heart palpitations what brings them on is very spicy. Foods & wine, thats when they're at its worst i take pills to help with them it has helped ive had ekg done it was normal have you had any test done
ive had several ecgs but I wernet having them when I had the ecgs ive had about 15 ecgs had a holter monitor a few months back cant remember if I was having them then but the results of that was just arrhythmia and tachycardia but the cardiologist said it was normal... had echo and ct scan all back normal... blood tests normal.. xrays normal got another 24hr ecg next month... and I actually eat really healthy but again when I do eat heavy meals like bacon sausage anything like that I get palpitations so I know that's food related palps but ill just sit there eat healthy all day drink and stay hydrated still get them despite results being normal
I have them as well, especially after a night out of drinking alcohol. So I try and stay away from alcohol (key word try). Had all tests done EKG, Holter, CT scan etc. Everything came back normal. I've read a lot about them and mainly stay away from coffee, alcohol, nicotine, any type of energy drinks. Try not to eat big fatty meals as they may cause them as well. I've started taking magnesium supplements everyday and that seems to help. I've also realized the more I think about them, the more frequently they come. And yes they are scary and cause my anxiety to go up. Hope this helps.
I have lots of these sometimes, mostly when I drink caffeine. Have you considered cutting back on caffeine to see if it helps? It helped me a lot.
I get them when I'm dehydrated or havent had enough sleep. Plus if i have forgotten to take my magnesium or B vitamin complex
Your not alone, I hate it, but I have found that I can no longer lay flat on a bed so sleep in a riser recliner chair
