Sometimes I don't know what comes first, my anxiety causing my increased HR or feeling my heart beat fast then I become anxious? Is anyone else hyper focused on HR. I feel when I stand up my heart beats fast and I really focus on it. What if there's something really wrong and I chalk everything up to anxiety. I had recent EKG and all was normal except fast HR cuz I couldn't calm down 🙁

I know how you feel. I get the same thing. It’s just a vicious circle.

Been dealing with it for years. Some days I’m fine, and some days I’m a wreck, and like everyone else I have no idea what makes other days worse than others. Just hang in there and know you’re not alone.

Thanks. It gets in the 130's when I'm at the MD or waiting for lab results. Can't even calm it down for an EKG, but reading is always normal except for high rate. Once I leave the appt HR goes back down, but always up and down. Today I felt very spacey in Target and the grocery store and started getting anxious, I think it's something about the lighting in stores. I've got to change my way of thinking, I have to quit focusing on every thing that feels "off". I'm not a selfish person, but am always focused on myself when it comes to how I feel. I agree with you, don't know what makes some days worse than others. And agree with dbeck128, anxiety is a demon. Thank you both for your responses.

Same. My RHB is always at like 100 and gets higher when I get upset. It sucks. Ah, had an EKG and an xray too. Heart is normal size. Anxiety is a demon.

Anxiety and high pulse goes hand in hand together. For sure if I am anxious it goes up and then I feel unwell and panic. It is an awful feeling and you get stuck dreading for this to happen again.

I try to take a deep breath 4 times, walk, occupy yourself with work or leisure activity. Sometimes it does not work so I take propranolol.
