2 days after surgery I got dizzy and it haven’t stopped, it’s been 2 months, I’ve also got real bad anxiety. When the dizziness stops I have hyper visualisation. Has nyome else experienced this?

Postopdizzy, I am not a doctor so can only go by "hear say"...

Have known others experiencing the same effects after having had

an anesthetic for surgery and/or certain antibiotics. It would be best

you run this by your doctor. I hope it runs it's course and you feel

better soon. :) xx

Thank you for the reply, do you know how long the issues last for

If that would be what's it's from, I really don't know.

Your doctor would be a better resource as to he knows

what you were given. I hope it goes away soon no matter

what it's caused from. x

I am not a doctor either but I agree with Agora. When you are this “fresh” post operative run your dizziness by the surgeon or their nurse (if they have a dedicated nurse to help them out). They will be able to tell you your estimated blood loss during surgery etc., & what labs if any may need to be rechecked. Should you fall into the category of a drinker, diabetic etc. contact them as soon as possible, you may need a additional follow up visit.

I did contact them, they said contact your local GP, the GP just tried giving me medicine but after being like this from medicine I don’t want to take anymore, when I did want to try medicine I read the side effects and it said dizziness, so I gave it a miss. it’s been almost 3 months now and I feel the same

If it were me, I would check with a acupuncturist & ask it they find it helps. It sounds like this condition could be right up their alley.

I’ll give it a try over the next couple of weeks and give you some feed back

Be sure & update your GP the medication did not help. I’d keep them abreast of your plans, as they know what surgery you had & hopefully acceptable complications from unacceptable ones.
