Yeah I was away in February on a 7 hour flight. Was my first time in 5 years because of my health anxiety. And I done great, actually shocked my self. I got xanax from gp incase I needed it for flight or while I was over there and I didn't need one 😊 my health anxiety with me most days it's horrible. I can't sleep tonight cause I think I have appendicitis 🙄 try not to work yourself up too much before u go, it will be a lot easier than u think.

Please please get the DARE response book by Barry McDonnagh it will really help you There is a lot of information about going on a plane

Just remember NOTHING will happen to you other than feeling uncomfortable that's all The feelings will come they will peak and they will die down As long as you keep telling yourself that you won't faint die have a heart attack lose control or whatever it is that's scares you you can do it

It's just the release of adrenaline rushing through your body that's all

Tell that flipping anxiety" I'm going on holiday abroad I'm going to have a fantastic time and you aren't going to spoil it "

Good luck but please get the book it's on Amazon xxxx✈️🌞

This is exactly how I’m feeling. My husband has recently completed successfully treatment for cancer & is desperate to go away on holiday....which I know he needs, but my anxiety is telling me ‘no you can’t go...you won’t be well’ and I just can’t bring myself to let him make the booking.

Please please do it I know exactly how you feel but don't let this flipping anxiety spoil this wonderful celebration Please look at the advice I gave Saz

It's only thoughts that's all that stop you don't let them

I know it's hard but you can and will do it

Fantastic news about your husband xx

Yeah I’m on holiday now .... You will naturally worry more because your outside your comfort zone but you need to remember a holiday is for relaxing. Don’t take google on holiday with you either. Try to relax and don’t worry about the flight. When my anxiety was at its peak I developed a hatred for flying as it scared the life out of me. ( still not 100% ) but you learn to accept it and remember its ok to be a little worried just like anyone would be.

Air planes are very good gliders flown by expert pilots and you’ll be surprised how durable they are.

Go on holiday and enjoy and use that time to shove anxiety’s nose out of the picture.

When I had anxiety it never effected me when I was on holiday. I felt normal.

Look at your holiday as a break from everything and go enjoy yourself.
