Metoprolol

So I was given metoprolol due to having a svt episode (180 heart rate and extremely high blood pressure). I take the extended release 25 mg and I been feeling dizzy and I also get palpitations. I don’t know if I should switch medicine or reduce the amount I have. Does anyone experience these symptoms? Please help.

Hi Collegegirl15, I am on the same medication and dosage. I have never

experienced your symptoms just dry mouth. I would give your doctor a call

since everyone reacts differently to medications. Good Luck xx
