Yes anxiety can definitely put the fear of dying in you. So much that we can forget to live. Hopefully you can find ways to ease your stress and fears before it gets to that point. But yes, those physical symptoms will make it worse. Do try and eat, even when you dont have the appetite to. That can make it worse.

I found a really helpful resource in dealing with anxiety. I had anxiety for many years and I found reaching out to family, friends and my local church helped greatly. Here is a resource I think you might like bit.ly/2mFxWoz. My thoughts are with you!

I hope you are feeling better. I have the tingling hands and feet too. It’s so scary and it’s hard not to focus on it. Stay strong

Hi I had those exact same symptoms. I started sertraline, too. Worst that can happen is that you need to switch medications. I got on it because I could not handle my life anymore without help.

What mg you take ? Is it helping you ? Do you feel the same again ?? I’m miserable and depressed barely eat barely everything I’m not happy anymore

I’m on 25mg. It’s hard to say how you’ll react because we’re all so different but I did get my appetite back. First few days I didn’t have one. It hasn’t been too long but I’m not having panic anymore but I def don’t feel like myself yet.

Is it doing better

I decided to kinda wean off of it - I do feel more like me, but I just didn’t like being on meds that made me feel weird. Did you start?

What exactly do you mean by weird and no I didn’t start yet I’m scared

Keep in mind that everyone is different! I just find that while it did help my panic, it just makes me feel zoned out more, and kinda like my brain is slower in the AM. It gave me derealization/ depersonalization more, too. I’m super afraid of health related things so being hyper aware of this definitely freaks me out more!

And again, some people feel fine on it! It’s worth a try if your doc thinks it’s a good fit
