What’s everyone’s thoughts on busparone my doctor prescribed it to me and I’m scared to death of medications just wondering what everyone’s thought on it is and Ativan as need which I’ve taken like that since 14 maybe go thru 15 every two months

I've just been prescribed buspirone 5mg/twice a day about 3 days ago so I'll be going through this experience with you, if you do decide to take it. It's gonna take a week or so i was told to start feeling any better. So I'm right here with you.

Hi why are you scared of taking it? If it's because of possible side effects then every medicine including over the counter ones such as paracetamol and aspirin have them. Don't you ever take any of those?

If you want to feel any better then you need to start taking them. However if you want to go the self help route then that is up to you. x

Dies Ativan work for you? In seriously thinking about asking my psychiatrist about it.

It works but not like it used to for me

I have taken this before and it gave me no bad side effects. I don’t think my doc gave it enough of a chance to really help me. I was only on it maybe 2 months. I am also scared of taking new medications. I get really scared of the possible side effects - I was prescribed something new and it’s taken me like 2 months maybe to start taking it. I just started the other day so I understand the worry in starting something new.

The thing that made start taking it was that my doctor said the anxiety can be causing me more harm than taking the med.
