You can hear it because it is close to your ears..lots of our joints make noises.
If you do have any doubt though get it checked.
True but i tell myself i might have tmj cause a small click on my cheek ! Might have to get that checked out but not to sure since I don’t have pain or anything it just happens when i put pressure on that part of my cheek or open my mouth sometimes to check for it .
It doesn't happen if you don't apply pressure?
Get it checked to out your mind at ease.
I can hear it more when i put my hand on my cheek and put just a bit of pressure and sometimes when i open my mouth its weird lol .
Try to not put pressure on it for a few days be see what happens..
😀
i made it a habit to always be checking for it and opening and closing my mouth 🙄 i guess you can say i became obsessed with checking 😩
I think you are right..
Yeah idk i just make myself super paranoid 😂😩
I think I do it too sometimes 😂
I hate it i think it’s on and off not unless i had the small pop and never really payed attention to it idk haha 😆 but it’s become obsessive!!!! 🙄
You have prob had it but never noticed before.. can you obsess about something nice? 😂
I probably did i just think something bad is gonna happen is what gets me even more obsessed about my problem smh 🤦🏻♀️😂
And does anything bad ever happen? 😊
No just a huge amount of anxiety lol and some depression 🙄
I used to have it and now I'm free of it, I decided to get on with life and pay no attention to it anymore, I am happy now.
You will be too someday. ☺️
I hope i can get to that point and just ignore my stupid jaw lol 🙄 and i know i will i just gotta take it day bu day thank you 🙏🏻❤️
I'm sure you will forget the jaw eventually 😂
One day at a time and you will eventually be free ☺️
YES! I have that, especially when I eat
Could it be Tmj 😱😩?
Hm well did it just start? Mine just started and went away
Like 2 weeks I think i never payed attention to it cause i was too focused on my ears but now since my ears got a little better i been just focused on that my jaw well it’s not on my jaw cause i put my finger right where my ear is and open my mouth and the small pop isn’t there it’s like where my cheek is where your teeth kind of are i suck at explaining im sorry lol
I think I understand what your saying lol! It’s all good, don’t be sorry but maybe you should talk to your doctor about it. I have get the popping sometimes and I get popping all in my bones especially my hip socket and in my knees and stuff it used to worry me but not so much anymore because it’s common! I think you should be okay, I would go to the doctor though so they can reassure you.
YES haha and okay good because i feel like I don’t explain myself to well sometimes lol ! I get alot of popping in one of my knees or ankle and also in my head like by my neck but i think I’ve always had that so it doesn’t really alarm me im more worried about my cheek or jaw i hear a little crunchy noise when i open too 😂 🙄 but i think it’s because i been opening and closing my mouth like a dummy 🙄🙄🙄😂 but i will look into thank you 🙏🏻
My jaw has clicked since I was 14. Now I have crackling ears and a feeling of pressure in my left. I've been to ENT. Had an MRI. Everything comes up ok. I'm dizzy all day. Very hard.
Mine has been on and off i think i never really payed any attention to it until now my anxiety and depression act up and i guess that makes things much worse not to mention i do have crackle and pops in my ears but i got a little use to that it’s just my cheek on one side where it slightly makes a small pop noise ! But im so sorry for what you’re going through i do suffer from vertigo on/off and it’s the worst 😩
I have had TMJ for years. Sadly I didn’t realize that I shouldn’t pop my jaw open and closed. It really messed me up doing that. I cannot open my mouth up all the way. I wish I had not popped my jaw so many times when I was younger.
Hi If you suffer from anxiety your brain magnifies any small problem and makes you worry about it making it out much worse that it really is. If you did not have anxiety you would ignore the small niggling aches and pains. Try to limit the amount of time you think about it by diverting your thoughts onto some nice things in life, if you can get this to work you will be much happier and won't have time to worry about the smaller things in life.
My anxiety makes me clench my teeth all day. Sometimes during the day when I open my mouth, I get a pop.
I have also cracked every tooth in my mouth from grinding/clenching I had to get every tooth in my mouth porcelain CROWNED.
Took 5 years to achieve this. Had to take out loans to cover the $30,000 cost thanks to PTSD.
