Propranolol 80mg advice ?

Hi everyone,

I don’t know if this sounds silly or not but im starting new medication today and have been worrying about it..?

I was on 40mg 2x a day for over 5years, now the doc have prescribed me 80mg slow release 1x a day.. anyone else on these tablets? If so what’s your experiences?

I’ve been on 80mg and requested to come off them as unfortunately I experienced so many side effects but they might work for you

Oh really. That’s not so good. Iv took one this morning and feel fine. What side effects did u get? And was that as soon as u took one

I didn’t really get any side effects till about 3 weeks in, started experiencing palpitations, like my heart was beating too slow, short of breath, tight chest, dizziness and lightheaded

Are you on a new dosage now?

Changed down to 40mg at the start of this week then I’m going to lower it to 30mg next week till I’m off it
