Propranolol

I saw a doctor today and I have been put on 80mg propranolol, anyone else have this, if so is it good ?

Beta blockers are pretty common as I understand. Not on it but I think it helps with the physcial stuff. Stops shaking, heart palps, etc. I don’t think it’s calming like an anti anxiety med but people say it can help.

They helped me lots with physical symptoms, pins and needles and stuff. I was on 80mg for a while. They should be low impact in terms of side effects too

Just make sure you don’t miss doses, take them at the same time each day and don’t just stop. They will help

I was on propranolol for quite a few years for severe migraines.....it also helps with my anxiety. I only came off it cause I needed another drug which wasn't compatible with it.

I'm on them because I have been having panic attacks due to going cold turkey off my meds. ...don't really notice much, but they have stopped my skipped heart beats ☺

I found Propranolol really helpful for tremors - I shake like crazy, someone even asked if I had Parkinson’s once - but apart from that, it didn’t help much. Good luck!
