Klonopin for high blood pressure?

Hi all. Battling years of high anxiety. Last few years high BP. Added a beta blocker along with my clonidine. And Doc added Klonopin broken in half yesterday to help. Anybody take it for blood pressure? I know it would chill me out. Worry about ever withdrawing from it if I start taking it everyday.

I take Noten for BP and Lexapro for anxiety and depression.

I would not take klonipin for high BP. BP meds are effective enough for that. Benzos like klonipin, IMO, should only be taken as a last resort for the management of anxiety or seizures. The benzo meds are highly addictive and extremely difficult to stop using if you have taken them for a length of time. If you're going to take klonipin research this med, you need to know what your getting yourself into. Be well.
